A bike suitable for long distance touring, built onto a Reynolds 631 double butted frame. The Shimano components and the 700 x 32 or 37mm tyres complete a fine top quality touring bike, that can be used on rough roads and firm tracks. This is a traditional style touring bike with modern components, the specification make it a suitable replacement for an old Dawes Galaxy. |

Chris and Dick Byers the shop owners, have used their Aravis Super Touring bikes for the last two years and previous models of this bike before that. Over the years they have toured Great Britain, Ireland, Europe, countries in the Far East and Latin America on this type of bike. They are great go anywhere machines that can be ridden on rough roads and unsurfaced tracks. Please remember that the bike specifications are very flexible, you can change the wheels, change the saddles, pedals and the tyres, choose your own gear ratios and crank lengths, change the handlebar stems and choose the stem length. |
