Aravis 631 steel frame audax bikes, equipped with Shimano groupsets, which are now widely recognised as the worlds

leading cycle transmission systems. A combination that creates a superb touring bicycle.

Frame specification, Aravis compact audax frame.

Light air hardened Reynolds 631 double butted tig welded main triangle tubes. The front forks, seat and chain stays

are made Reynolds 520 tubing. Compact frame design, the top tube slopes back.

Steel is still the favourite material for many cyclists because of it's well proved strength, durability,

longevity and reliability. It makes a lot of sense, to buy a cycle frame with these fundamental qualities built in.

Great for audax events or fast touring.

Clearance for mudguards, 700 x 28mm tyres and 57mm brake stirrups.

Aravis 631 frame with Retro Tec components
Built onto Aravis 631 steel frame, that has strength, durability, reliability and longevity. Retro Tec audax bikes are fitted with 8 speed downtube gear levers and standard brake levers, to create a bike that is cheaper and easier to maintain as well as providing a large saving on the initial purchase price. As the name suggests it is the basic bicycle technology that we all used to know and love before the advent of STI gears systems two decades ago. They also have standard cartridge bearing bottom brackets with square tapered axles.
