Great for audax events or fast touring. Reynolds 631 tig welded air hardened steel tubes. |

Steel is still the favourite material for many cyclists because of it's well proved strength and |
|
|
undoubted durability. Top tube slopes back 4cm. |
|
|
The frame has clearance for 57mm brake stirrups, mudguards and 700 x 28mm tyres. |
|
|
Bosses for 2 bottle cages and a rear pannier carrier. |
|
|
Distance between rear wheel dropouts 130mm. |
|
|
(28.6mm band on front mech, 27.2 seat pin not supplied). |

This is another option for the people who prefer steel frames. If you look on the Reynolds website you will be able to find a statement that says “Reynolds 520 cromoly steel tubing is made under license by other companies to Reynolds specification.” The Iceni 520 frame weighs around 3kg exactly the same as the Aravis 631 frames. So if you are not to concerned about the numbers on the Reynolds frame transfers, and do not require a wider choice of colours and the really excellent paint job, that you get with the Aravis frame, then there is a considerable saving to be made by choosing the Iceni 520 steel audax bike frame. |
